For many years, we didn’t offer the Canary Islands to our travelers, as we felt they didn’t cater sufficiently to the discerning visitor. While some areas still bear the marks of mass tourism, recent efforts by local governments and private initiatives have transformed parts of the islands into havens for culture and nature—and both are in abundant supply.

The Canary Islands consist of seven main islands: Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro. Each island boasts a distinct landscape, from volcanic peaks to lush forests, offering a diversity that surprises many visitors.

For luxury travelers, Tenerife is a standout, featuring world-class properties, Spain’s highest peak, Mount Teide, charming villages like Garachico, UNESCO-listed La Laguna, stargazing, and sailing alongside whales and dolphins. That said, all the islands have unique experiences to offer.
