Madrid is one of the world’s most vibrant and captivating cities. Its charming atmosphere immediately draws visitors in, making them feel part of its energy. Proud of its traditions, the city boasts cultural treasures and architectural splendors. Each neighborhood has its own character, blending grandeur, elegant statues, spectacular fountains, and the Royal Palace with bohemian districts filled with eclectic restaurants and cafes alongside long-established favorites. Food lovers are spoiled for choice, with options ranging from traditional dishes to cutting-edge cuisine in both restaurants and tapas bars.
Nearby Toledo and Segovia make excellent day trips or short stays. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, Toledo is a thousand-year-old masterpiece shaped by Romans, Moors, Jews, and Christians. Its beautifully preserved buildings reflect its rich and colorful history. To the north, Segovia is another World Heritage City with unique monuments like the 2nd-century Aqueduct, Spain’s greatest Roman engineering feat. Beyond its landmarks, Segovia offers an old Jewish quarter, stately homes, stunning views, authentic local dining, and refreshing mountain air. Further north, the Ribera del Duero region produces some of the world’s finest and most exclusive red wines.
OUR HAPPY CLIENTS SAY
We can both confidently say this has been the best few days of our lives!
“Wedding weekend was perfect, and Madrid has been beyond all expectations. The hotel has been so wonderful for atmosphere, location, and staff. This morning we learned so much from Teresa (an actual art historian) at Prado Museum and the rest of walking tour. And we could not rave more about Epicurean tour with Cesar. It was the best and most over the top kindness and the most personal experience we could have had.”
Segovia was like visiting a fairytale town.
“Absolutely gorgeous and our guide was the best. Her expertise brought Spanish history alive for us.”
Our excursion to Toledo with our guide was phenomenal.
“She was energetic and engaging with the kids. She had a lot of anecdotal stories the kids loved, and just knew how to capture their attention. She found many interesting things to do.”
Our insider fashion guru was fabulous.
“She took us on a tour of a different area of the city...the fashion and less touristy neighborhoods. We loved this very different view of Madrid -- the cutting edge of Spanish fashion. Absolutely delightful.”
Our guide really knew her history of Madrid, the beautiful buildings that populate it and the famous art living in its museums.
“Since we got to spend two days with her, we felt we really bonded with her. She was so gracious with us and she even encouraged us to move to Spain! She obviously loves what she does and she spent several more hours with us than I believe she was required.”
The trips to the Bernabeu were extremely special to me.
“Both games we had excellent seats for viewing the action. Everything was taken care of, and my experience couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The VIP seats were amazing, … essentially a dream come true for me, and it was a very emotional.”
“We thought Madrid was beautiful, with one building more spectacular than the next.”
We were amazed at how beautiful Madrid is.
"Our evening tapas tour was a memorable event in that our guide exposed us to several off the track non-tourist tapas places where she not only ordered interesting combinations of food but also explained what we were eating and how it fit into the local culture. We ended the evening with dessert and champagne at an outdoor cafe on the Plaza del Angel, talking about Spanish history and politics.”
“Madrid was lovely – I actually wish we’d spent an extra day there”
